The Touristenheim Hostel is located in the heart of Leukerbad, a village in the Valais Alps renowned for its thermal baths for centuries.
The natural thermal water springs from the mountain with up to 51 degrees celsius and, once cooled, feeds the various baths.
The Leukerbad Therme and Alpentherme are within a few minutes’ walk of the hostel and are open to the public 365 days a year.
Nothing like a relaxing bath in hot thermal water after a good day of walking or skiing!
Around Leukerbad
The village of Leukerbad is located in a circus of majestic mountains, between the Gemmi massif and the Torrent massif.
The ski lifts are a 10-minute walk from the hostel, providing access to a 55-km ski area. Beautiful cross-country ski trails and snowshoe trails complete the winter offer.
In summer, you can discover the fauna and flora of the mountains on many hiking trails
Finally, the Sportarena offers you the opportunity to practice your favorite sport or discover new ones in any season. Tennis, squash, badminton, billiard, ping-pong, hockey, curling … you’ll be spoiled for choice!
